Description

This is a coop-map, in which you have to solve riddles and uncover secrets. So take your buddy and discover!

But beware: You are soulbound! If one dies, the other will too...

(Note: This map is a coop map and not playable in singleplayer.)

Installation Instructions
  1. Both players have Version 1.2.0 with the LATEST(!) Alpha Patch installed
  2. Both players unpack the 'map07115.zip' into \campgns\keeporig\
  3. If the host has a public IP4 adress, copy it. If not, both players connect each other with Hamachi and copy the IP4 of the host.
  4. Both players start the DK-launcher.exe -> Click 'Run Options' -> Checkbox 'Set multiplayer sessions' -> Replace the IP4-adress with the HOST ones -> Click 'Store' -> Start game
  5. In main menu -> 'Multiplayer' -> 'ENET/UDP'
  6. Host clicks 'Create Game' -> Other clicks 'Join Game' -> Click 'Start Game'
  7. In map overview, both click on the flag at the very bottom. (The flag in the water)

The map is a possession co-op puzzle map. It's probably possible to complete without voice chat, but I wouldn't try it. You need to coordinate constantly with the other player.

Several puzzles will have you dying many times, but you immediately respawn at the start of the puzzle to try again, so this map can be played without having to save and you are wasting very little time. Also Important, the stability of the map over multiplayer was fine, and we managed to complete it without any crashes or problems.

It's an impressive map in showing what the game can do these days, and if you enjoy puzzles this is a top map to play. Skip if you hope to build a base and train bile demons.

The map was a lot of fun, as I'm a fan of teamwork anyway. the map was not like the usual challenge to beat your friend but to work as a team. Solving puzzles together is a lot of fun, and it brings the players even closer together, in terms of gameplay. there should be really more coop maps to have fun with friends. highly recommended for a MP-match with your friend
