If you're an inexperienced player, you probably won't enjoy this. If you want a laid-back experience, pick something else. I have not implemented a difficulty selection.
With all that said, I don't believe this map is particularly -hard-, but it will be constant engagement for much of the early game. Fight aggressively, mine greedily.
Some tips;
- You can command diggers to heal by dropping them on your dungeon heart.
- Build a large lair and hatchery to attract Giants. Guardposts are needed to attract Archers.
- Tunnellers have a large gold capacity but slow movespeed, and will be regularly waylaid by enemies. You'll need to manually ferry them between tasks.
- Claim and remove lairs to thwart wildlife attacks.
- This map was not designed with handpaying in mind, but it isn't scripted out. You are allowed to be cringe.
- Look for hidden treasures as there are many to be found.
Tested and released on -- Alpha 4434. These bugs are known about, but not map related;
- Spiders 'locking up' and not patrolling.
Any other bugs please do report and I'll look into them.
It wasnt so hard. I have some tricks to win all the keepers. But it was a little boring. Nice map, many thanks to the author.
Another patch version;
Uploaded a new version that fixed the western pocket of neutrals that were not switching sides like they typically should.
Also moved the Rebound spellbook that was previously in Yellow keepers library out into the main swamp portion.
