Description

I have designed it to be quite hard, to give experienced players a challenge. You may find that tricks that were exploited in the original levels have now been used against you, and tactics will be a necessity to win.

  • Creature Pool: Troll, Demon Spawn, Dark Mistress, Warlock, Bile Demon, Spider, Hell Hound, Orc
  • Objects: Creatures: 84, Traps: 47, Doors: 59, Items: 655, Dungeon hearts: 3, Hero gates: 4, Special Boxes: 8

This level starts with a high difficulty. Some possession fighting is needed and gold is going to be an issue until you get a workshop.

You'd think you'd have the upper hand, starting with a Horny. However, a low level Horny won't be enough unless you possess him. The Archers guarding the prisons are deadly, but after that it gets easier and easier. I ended up with 114 creatures against Blue's 25, including 5 Avatars (!!!). I think the Avatars alone would have been enough.

4/5, I liked it but the unhealthy amount of traps got quickly annoying. Boulders right behind doors is a no-no, even with Sight Spell. 4/5 difficulty in the beginning, 2/5 for late game. The big invasion was the deadliest part. 3/5 overall.

One of my favourite maps ever. Great work.

This map starts out really strong and interesting. Very little gold, no portal, but a lot of choices on how to proceed. It is quite challenging, more difficult than the levels I did, but not as difficult as the undead keeper maps. I had to reload a few times though because sometimes things happen you didn't expect. After a little while you'll have cleared the guarded center and you'll have access to a prison, torture room and a workshop to sustain you. At this point the quality starts to drop off, with those rooms available you can decide to start taking on heroes or the blue keeper and feed your prison. After a while you'll face several avatars and knights, but they'll end up in your prison. There's some annoying trap placement, and I think the massive army that spawns at some point and giant rooms you take over are a bit overkill. Overall though, certainly one of the better maps out there.

It should be noted this map must be placed on legacy levels.
