This map resembles the map-styles of the earlier custom made maps. I found the beginning of the map quite interesting with having a shortage on gold, so I had to to plan ahead what creatures to train. The heroes guarding the gems were an utter push-over, so it was not a big challenge to get there. Having reached the gems it was only a question of time to get my creatures up to level 10. Luckily I could shorten this time with frameskip.

The major task in this level is to beat the three allied keepers. Sadly, it burns down to the very common 25 creatures vs 25 creatures each time, with yellow beeing slightly weaker than green or blue. Also, the creatures pool awards all keeper with mostly the basic high-tier creatures such as dragons, mistresses and bile demons. There was not much strategy required but rather brute force to overpower the enemy. I just tried to collect as many horned reaper as possible and then pushed through without much hassle.

I experienced many maps like this in the past which sadly were so repetitive that I had to quit DK1 for quite a while out of boredom. This is not per se a bad map, however, with new and engaging maps from the last 1-2 years, it doesn't hold a candle when it comes to exciting new gameplay.
