You are a mighty Necromancer by the name of Nessiah. A Summoner who goes by the name of Zurvaner, also immense in power, has challenged you. He has ambushed you here, where he plans to summon a great and powerful force to destroy you. However, it takes time to prepare such a summoning. You must do what you can to slow him down, and likewise does he plan to do the same. He believes sending his underlings will weaken you and seal your fate. What a foolish thing to believe when facing a Necromancer.
this was a fun little challenge. i was stalling around and managed to finish with barely any time left
i must agree, i didnt like finding out the hard way that my warlock must stay alive. that was the only time i would lose. otherwise, still worth a play, my favorite thing is the top of the map looks like some wicked hands grabbing a crystal ball
Interesting level where the player doesn't get any portal and instead has to imprison enemies to get skeletons and kill whatever isn't humanoid to get vampires instead. The player is assaulted by parties of varying creatures of varying levels every so often and has to build his army with these invaders, which must be done under a certain time before the summoner summons his "beasts" (weird beasts indeed!) to kill him.
I liked the idea, and the beginning was a challenge considering you start with some skeletons, a warlock and a few ghosts. Not the greatest army, but it gets better from here. I dug where I shouldn't have and it made things harder.
Gold isn't a problem, you have access to gems right at the beginning. Creatures are, however, and you have to keep them alive since you can't easily replace them in the beginning.
Alas, I snowballed quite hard past the few first invasions and couldn't really be stopped once I had my few level 6 vampires, especially when traps were being added.
I have a few problems with this map. First, nothing tells you your warlock has to survive. I kept him safe just in case since it fitted the theme, but you have to keep him apart from your vampires at all costs. Weird necromancer!
Also, nothing tells you you have to kill the mid level hornies to progress. I did it because I didn't have anything else to do and went exploring even if the objective tells you you have to find a way in/slow the summoner down.
Overall, nice map with low-mid difficulty for more relaxed players who like undeads. 4/5
