You start without access to any gold, and with very limited space to build your dungeon. You'll have to build a library to research the bridge and get to the gigantic gold reserve in the north where you'll be uncontested except for a few hero spawns.
The beginning is nice, the rest however suffers from the lack of challenge. Both enemy Keepers are no threat even if I saw Green attract Hornies. For some reason they couldn't go to their creatures limit so, after I captured the heroes and converted them/got skeletons out of the archers, I had double their numbers. Plus many mistresses.
There's also the "problem" of having access to the prison/torture room/temple/scavenging rooms.
One armaggeddon after and it was over. Also, random messages appeared in the level, but I guess that can be explained by how old that map is.
2/5
EDIT: I think both enemy keepers were stuck at low number of creatures because of the small space they have to build. Their lairs were probably far too small to attract the 50 creatures (each) they were supposed to.
Do you remember this map? were enemy keepers so agressive in your game as in mine? I got attacked by them pretty soon so I had to turtle myself while imps were diding gold in upper part of map.
I remember it, and in my case they were very passive so I had all the time in the world to do whatever I wanted.
Maybe something changed with the alpha updates since. It would make the map more interesting for sure, even if rushing reinforcing walls isn't very fun by itself.
